I AM A WINNER!!!

SHOW OFF SHEPHERD!
Last night Lonnie and I went
to Karli's school for an open house

So they were having a raffle
6 tickets for $5.00

Here is what my $5.00 got me!!
A movie basket.

Lots of fun movies, movie tickets to Harkins and
AMC Theatres, movie cups, blockbuster gift card,
popcorn, sodas, chips and lots of candy!!

Karli performing her English poetry....

Karli has a AA English class
that she keeps her
really busy with
extra projects.
She had to write a poem
and them act it out
in front of her class.
So guess who got to be
her pre-audience
MOM AND DAD!

She did great and her class
loved the poem. She did
tell me that she forgot a
couple of her lines in her poem
while acting it out but quickly
made some new lines up as
she presented it.

BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS

As we were driving home from
Globe last weekend we rounded
the bend to this beautiful sunset.
I quickly grabbed the camera
and took these pictures. I
always feel so peaceful when
I see an Arizona sunset.
I think of the free country
we live in. For the
beauty of our earth and
the freedom we have as
united people

SHEPHERD vs FREMONT GIRLS BASKETBALL

Karli is our basketball player. She has a true
love for the game. She is a very good player.
Last week they played their rivalry team
Fremont, sadly they lost by 5 points
They will play them again next
week. It was a great game
so hopefully they will have
a victory.

Good team defense..

Karli on the alert for the ball.

Working with the team.

Getting ready to shoot a free throw.
Whoops gotta wait while other team
ties her shoe.

UP UP UP it goes and in it went

Karli and the twins Mariah and Maddie.
These three went to elementary school together
best of friends they were.
When it came time for Jr High they had to
go to a different school. It was so
fun for them to see each other let alone
compete with one another.

Our Avery Girl

This special little girl was welcomed into
our hearts 2 1/2 years ago to my niece
and nephew Mekell and Deke. It has been
such a neat experience to be able to
with them from the beginning. From the
day she arrived we were able to have
Mekell, Deke and big brother Hunter
in our home while she was in the
hospital. What a great day when she
finally got to go home with them.
This last week her adoption became final.
I have had the opportunity to care for
her in my home and she is
a beautiful little girl that our
Heavenly Father has sent here.
I Love you little Avery
Thanks for touching my life
so much.

Look Aunt Lisa I can peddle the tricycle now.

Do I have to smile :(

The toy totes are always funnier to play with
than the toys.

Avery you are so special.
